Out of nowhere,'Lamyanba' comes to my mind.

Five bricklayers are erecting walls of my newly constructed house.I'm having full times in fulfilling their demands. This morning they wanted brush with iron bristle to clean the old surfaces of the walls.I went out and bought it.As I was returning,I thought of buying some bakery products as their refreshment in the afternoon. That would save me another trip to the bakery store. But I decided against that because I wanted to give them fresh arrival of today, which usually arrive at around noon.

I have already noticed that the stores were opening half-shuttered.I thought that they be fully opened by the time I went out again.

When I went out just after noon,I found all the stores completely shut!Something in the air told me there is vast change in the public's mood.

I had my dinner after giving tea to the bricklayers.Without even cleaning up my hands,I was just sitting there pondering over the present situation in Manipur.

Then, suddenly, out of nowhere,'Lamyamba' comes to my mind. The narrative that Tripuris have already been swamped by the outsiders and that same fate is awaiting us,Manipuri is the gift of 'Lamyamba' to the Manipuri Society.I'm talking about events decades back and 'Lamyanba',a Manipuri monthly was totally phenomenal.

I was still school-going at that time.I,with some my benchmates were thrilled by 'Lamyanba'.One particular story about Chanu Rose had a lasting impact on my psyche.I still clearly remember the power of that prose which told us the merciless story of the rape of a Tangkhul girl,Rose, by the high officer of the Indian army. That prose was mind-blowing.The Chanu Rose story was occassional. But the main plank of the 'Lamyanba' is,all throughout its life, that we are beinmg swamped by the large numbers of outsiders.

Still,we were the minority then.Anybody seen with a copy of 'Lamyanba' was viewed with suspicious glances.'Well-meaning' and 'conformist' sections of the society were reigning.

But,on this 20th of July,2015 I firmly believe that we are finally in the majority. The story of 'Lamyanba',so powerfully told decades back.have now percolated down to every stratum of the Manipuri society. As I am typing this post right now,the streets of Manipur are in upheaval.

The only voice of the 'well-meaning' and 'conformist' sections we heard today,on this 20th July 2015,is that of the good old souls of school teachers, who want to open their school. We know that their concerns for the academic calendars of the students are understandable. But the events unfolding right at the moment decisicely silence their well-meaning voice.

So,what's the road ahead?

1)All the societies south of Vindhya have the same feeling as the Manipuri society. They have the unbearable burden of the continous influx of 'North Indians'.Any Bill coming out of Manipur that have the minimal chance of regulating migrant workers(Noth Indian to them) would be so keenly studied by all these societies. In that sense, any Bill from Manipur would have the effect of opening up of the proverbial Pandora's Box for the Indian State. So,any Bill passed by the Manipur State Assembly have the zero chance of getting assent either from the Governor or the President of India.

2)The story of the face of the resurgent Indian nationalism--Mr Narendra Modi.Everywhere he goes,he has exhibited this unconcealed glee of finding such large number of Indian Diaspora. To them, they are the Diapora but to us,they are the 'influx' that is swamping us.A very powerful section within the Indian society, personafied by Mr Narendra Modi,is celebrating (so,encouraging) this 'influx'.Besides the technicalities of the Constitution of the Indian Union, this powerful section within the Indian society would never let any Bill out of Manipur see the light of the day.

So,we are heading for a clash.

I think this would be an epochal clash.

The penultimate month

The NATO is going for a month long military exercise ending on the 3rd of November 2015.It's the biggest since 2002,involving 36,000 soldiers. It sure breaks a pattern in that it's happening after more than a decade.

We should note that the NATO is the military face of the West.

While the West is beating the war drums, its ally,India is,in a 'peaceful' mode, showing us where the actual battleground would be.New Delhi is hosting the Joint Co-ordination Council meeting with Burma.

November also hosts one of the biggest festivals of Manipur. It began as an ethnic specific festival. But,in due of course of time, almost all the ethnic groups of Manipur emotionally embrace it.It serves as one the newest symbols of ethnic friendship of the state of Manipur.

The festival shows off one of its grandest faces in the border town of Moreh.A large numbers of revellers from different parts of Manipur would start arriving there for the festival. The border town would be in its festive best.

If anybody, reveller or otherwise, goes as far as Moreh,he won't return home without visiting the Burmese town of Tamu.

Tamu is the catchword.

The exact spot of the battleground inside Burma would be Tamu.

Right now,all the indications points to the possibility of a 'battleground Tamu' during the above festival.

Amonsgt the hordes of revellers arriving in Moreh for the festival, there might be a few select special operations soldiers from the Indian Army. All of them would be Manipur residents, carrying indenity proofs, like voter identity cards. They would easily mingle with the crowd. As usual practice, they would travel to Tamu.

In Tamu there would be agents who would supply them the required arms and explosive. As the winter is setting in they would be in an assortment of clothings that would facilitate the concealment of the arms and ammunitions.

I think they would attempt an attack at a single base camp of Manipuri rebels in Tamu. They would attempt a surprsie and surgical strike at the particular camp.

It's a common public knowledge in Manipur that its rebels are camping in Tamu area.Besides that, the Indian military itself acknowledge, during the 'trial balloon' of the cross border raid last month, that the rear section s of the various base camps of the rebels fall in the area of Tamu.Only a few days back,India's home minister in Guwahati told an important meeting that 10 kms wide area from the border is being ruled by the rebels, hinting at the existence of the rebel camps.

They are planning to convert the festival serving as the newest symbol of ethnic friendship into a bloodshed day.

I wish I was wrong.

Life under curfew is dreary and I'm almost forcing myself to note down the following events:

1) Today,India's Prime Minister is in Turkmenistan.

2) Today,we read about the FBI director meeting reporters at the Agency headquarters. It was really unusual in that the director was uncharacterictically docile. That can be taken as a cue to look for meaning of the unspoken words of the director. The meeting with the reporters was to hint at the oppressed and exploited constituent within the American society, which, for purely tactical reason, had to briefly don the garb of White supremist(my next to last post).

3)Today also,we read about the official taking down of the Confederate flag from South Carolina's Legislature complex, which also hinted at the above constitutuent.

If we re-read the first point together with the second and the third points,it surely takes an altogether deeper meanings. The Uighurs in China's Xinjiang want to call their homeland as East Turkmenistan and to have it secceeded from China.

Now,what particular meaning can we deduct if we read together all the above three events?

The answer:They are retaliating!

For someone living in Imphal it's clear that the only episode for which a retaliatory action has been overdue is the 4th of June ambush in Chandel!!

So,here we are.The US and India are jointly planning a retaliatory move to the 4th of June ambush in Chandel district of Manipur. But,what's the big deal in finding out this meaning? It's fairly a commonplace knowledge to understand that Laukkaing was answered in Chandel and now,it's India's turn to answer to Chandel.

Well, the saddest part is that they are making us to specifically find out this answer on an eleventh of July.On the fateful 11th of July 1995,in Srebenica,Serbs fighters massacred 7000 Muslims.

This shows us that the joint India-US answer to Chandel is most likely to have a component of engineering an ethnic bloodbath inside the territory of Manipur.

I wish I was wrong.

A military strategy report and a riddle.

The US has released the 'National Military Strategy' report 2015.

The report said that the chances of war with a state is 'low but growing'.

To see how the US is sizing up the other nations,I'll quote the following from page 9 of the report:

"We will strengthen our alliances with Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and Thailand. We also will deepen our security relationship with India and build upon ourpartnerships with New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Bangladesh."

It's significant that India is being dealt as a stand-alone case.

Pakistan is being clubbed with the nations of the Middle East. It's a surprise.See the following quote from the same page.

"In the Middle East, we remain fully committed to Israel’s security and Qualitative Military Edge. We also are helping other vital partners in that region increase their defenses, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt, and Pakistan."

Of course, they are all for the guaranteeing of Israel's security. As someone observing it from an obscure place like Imphal,it's maddeningly confusing to see why the US is so intent to guarantee the security of Israel in defiance of the vast majority of the nations of the Middle East.Is it because the West(which includes the US) borrows a 'story' from Israel?(The Bible, essentially,is an Israeli folk tale). Are they in a perennial payback mode?

As expected,China is being sized up as the main rival.

Having observed all these feature, what makes this year's report stand out is yet to be mentioned. To my mind,it's all to do with the deployment of the term 'Revisionist States".I'ts remakable that the term occurs only once in the whole of the 17 page report. And,there is absolutely no effort to explain it from the context of Pentagons's scheme of things. It's more like the State Department speaking through the Pentagon.

I bet they are putting the term into the report as some kind of a riddle, nay,an Oriental riddle! So far,we come to know of the existence of the battleline and make the discovery of the one constituent within the US society(my last post) in as fine  and as mysterious ways as one negotiates an Oriental riddle. So,the US is saying--'A riddle for a riddle'!

I also think they are using the term 'revisionist states' in the context of the Cold War.It was the decisive defeat of the CPSU and the Soviet Union. In that sense, the entities like the Communist Party of China(CPC) are anachronisms themselves in today's world.

But they are missing out on one simple but important point.CPC embraced pragmatism on line with the famous dictum--"It does not matter whether the cat is balck or white as long as it catches mice".So, the CPC is comfortably co-habiting with ever increasing nunbers of billionaires. This also means the Chinese society, under the leadership of CPC,is also begining to produce world-class corporations and brands.

Now,it's the turn of the US(the victor of the Cold War) to embrace pragmatism to make the lives of the 99% of the population easier. It's the matter of straight forward existential fact that 1% of the US population has amassed more wealth than the remaining 99% and it's getting richer by the day.The remaining 99% is facing more and more problem in keeping intact its present standard of living.

Everybody knows that they have high ideals like universal franchise, freedom of speech, human rights protection etc.But 99% of the population needs much more than these high ideals. The sheer conditions of human living demand that the 99% is more focused on the bread and butter business. It will be really heartwarming if the 99% have practical access to the opportunities to their bread and butter business while still living in a society which have those high ideals. It's really unfortunate to see that the movements like the 'occupy Wall Street' seem to hint that this 'heartwarming scenario' is indeed facing problems. It's in such a crucial time that the world is watching how the US would embrace pragmatism(like the CPC) to make sure the 'heartwarming scenario' is indeed possible and sustainable within the geographical boundary of the US.

If they take it too long to do so,the 99% would start openly saying that the CPC is much more pragmatic.

The full copy of the report is here.

Two constituents--Discovered at the same time, in two different continents.

This morning,I stumbled upon this Twitter thread(#WhoIsBurningBlackChurches). Initially,it disturbed me greatly because it all began on the 23rd of June 15,just a day after my last post.Is this just a case of mere coincidence?

As I sat, after publishing my last post,in front of my computer,a thought started to creep into my head.Is there an 'anti-Pakhangba constituent' within our society? Here,I would like to remind myself that I talked,in my last post, about Poireiton being 'anti-Pakhangba'.

The thought came into my mind ,lingered there some minutes and, then, went away. Then,I carried on with my normal chores of daily grind.

But,after some days,it came back to my mind again. For the last sevreal days now,I have been literally playing hide and seek with the thought.

But,this morning, some sort of eureka moment happened to me.I was reading the Twitter thread.Naturally, many questions came up.Why did the church shooting in South Carolina happen on the 18th of June(my last post)? Now,why did the church burning spree suddenly started just one day after my last post? The questions greatly disturbed me.But,as it was,I moved on to the news of the Indonesian military plane crash, killing more than 140 people.

Indonesia? Something flashed in my mind. It's the only South East Asian nation which brought, some months back, its special operations soldiers to Vairengte military facility in Mizoram, for joint exercise with its Indian counterpart.

Immediately, that forms a pattern spanning two continents.

My mind was stunned by this dramatic quetion--

Does the USA have a constituent within its society which is willing to fight for a system more akin to the Chinese form of governance?

Immediately, the imageries of the 'occupy Wall Street' agitations flashed back in my mind. Those agitations might have been the first manisfestation of this constituent within the US society.

But,now, why should it smeared itself with the taints ofchurch mayhems, which are clearly related with White Supremism?

The answer lies in the rise of the Hindu Spuremism in our part of the world. The constituent within the US wants to highligh to the world ever-louder war drums of the Hindu Supremism and Nazism. Why?It should be easy to note that it would face hard times to make itself grown up into something capable of tilting the scale in its favor, given that it has to work under constant surveilance of super-efficient agencies, like the FBI and NSA.So,it would need all the help from outside.

Would that help be forthcoming depends upon the outcome of the fight against Hindu Supremism and Nazism here in our part of the world.

Now,coming to my point, the stunning discovery of this constituent within the US society have propelled me towards the confirmation of the more or less equally dramatic thought lingering in my mind for the last several days--Yes!We do have the 'anti-Pakhangba constituent' within our society. It's a very vibrant constituent, right at the moment.

I'm super-excited at the discovery of this new and surprising constituent within our own society. From my college days,I've been tormented with these questions--

1)Why should we have such a large numbers of organizations with the same aims and objectives?

2)Why should any promising organization gets itself splitted into several factions so regualrly?

Now,with the discovery of the 'anti-Pakhangba constituent' within our society, these questions which have been tormenting me for such a long time, might be answered so beautifully.

The sizable numbers of the activists and volunteers grow up nurtuerd by this 'anti-Pakhangba constituent'.When they join any organization(be it political, social or whatever) they would silently sabotage any move or program which has the promises to blossom into something useful. Those silent acts of sabotage would grow up into full-scale splits of the parent organization into several factions.

The 18th of June and the ceasefire mode.

At the very outset,I'm pleased to statethat this 15th June is the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta. It punctured the theory of the Divine Right of the king.In that sense,it's the harbinger of democracy,as we know it today.

But,in today's world,is democracy the legitimate target of attacks(just like the Taliban did today in Kabul)?

Specifically,in our case, would democracy solve the problem underlying 18th June?

Incidentally,on the 18th June 2015,the Hong Kong legislative body voted down the Chinese model of democratic election prescribed for Hong Kongers. In other words, they said that the Western-style democracy would prevail over the Chinese model in the long run.

Again,on the 18th June 2015,there was a bloody shooting inside the historic church in South Carolina, snuffing out nine innocent black lives. The shooting emphatically reminded us the wounds of the tight tussle between those people espousing the idea of federation and those of confederation.I'll be quick to clarify that confederation based on the idea of slavery is totally unacceptable. But the tussle between decentralisation(confederation) and centralisation(federation) is still relevant today.

I've no idea why the above two events happened on the same day which is the soul crushing one for us ie,the 18th of June. But every newspaper reader knows that they actually did happen on that day.Did they serve as the fodder for thought for us here in Manipur?

The 18th of June, for the Manipuris, essentially boils down to the intricacies of the hill-valley relationship. For many decades,we have a more or less working federal setup. But hill-valley problems remain as strong as ever. So,would a more de-centralized confederation system be the answer?

Together with this federal system,we have also electoral democracy rooted in both the societies of both the hill and the valley. But this also not solve our problem.

But one thing is beyond controversy.Hill-valley relationship of Manipur is as intricate and old as the polemics of federation vs confederation  and Western-style democracy vs pro-poor syatem, like that of China.

I know it's laughable to even think of attempting to sketch a simple profile of hill-valley problem of Manipur in a single blog post. It's a soul-crushing probelm for Manipur.

But bloggers are a new breed of people! So,I would try it anyway!!

To my mind,hill-valley relationship of Manipur essentailly boils down to the game of 'fair competition and mutual respect' between the people of hill and valley.Any political system that enables the free play of this game would be suitable for us.

Putting our problem in the canvas of 'fair competition and mutual respect' game, this blogger, being born in the valley, would try to answer the crucial question: what had happened to the valley society which disables it to fully and truthfully engage in the game?

Whenever I ask this question,I perenially come to face to face with one single person--Poireiton.The trouble of Manipuri society has its genesis in the person of Poireiton. It's not about race--it does not matter whether he came from the East or the West.

What is of utmost importance now--in the context of the general development of social history of Manipur,Pireiton is the first challenge.

In the context of real-politic,he is anti-Pakhangba.

It's not from history book but I think it would not be any controversial to state that prior to 33 AD,the administration of State, being of homogenous and small population, was almost a flawless affair. This being so,Pakhangba decided to bestow some of the benefits of this flawless state administration model to the less fortunate folks(like Poireiton).

It may be taken as the first attempt to make the society heterogenous. As expected,Pakhangbe encountered problem at the very outset in the person of Poireiton. We know that Pakhangba might have tried to porttray himself as some kind of a divinity to bestow the fruits of the good state adminstration to numerous groups of people--Poireiton's group being just one of them. It's clear that it was smooth sailing with all other groups, except that of Poireiton's.

There is still a lot of controversy regarding what actaully transpired beween Pakhangba and Poireiton.

But two non-conttroversial facts stand out.

1) Pakhangba not only married Poireiton's sister but also installed her as the queen. This shows the immensity of the challenge posed by Poireiton to Pakahngba in particular and to the regning political system in general. This also points to the likely scenario that it was not the case of the outright subjugation of Poireiton. It is more of a case of uneasy ceasefire.

2) This point  seems to be further consolidated by the second fact that Poireiton and his group came with comparably sophisticated culture,as shown by the cullinary surprises experienced by Pakhangba and his ruling class(as is evident in the transcription of Poireiton's name in some forms of rice which are still considered to be delicacies). The clash of two comparably sophisticated culture points to the existence of an uneasy ceasefire.

Seen in this light,we are still living with the longest ever ongoing ceasefire in human history. No neighbouring community(be it of hill or whatever)would ever respect a society which has been under a choking ceasefire for a such a long time.In other words,we still cannot command the respects of the neighbouring communities for this reason.

The first and foremost condition which we need to meet so as to tackle the problems like that of the 18th June is quite simple--walking out of the choking and debilitating ceasefire.

We need to quickly walk out this of ceasefire mode.

The deception game reveals the coming retaliatory move.

'Look, how magnificient my trial balloon is',said India's military.

The Indian media men of all hues, standing thousand of miles away, clapped, cheered and said,'Bravo, bravo'.

It totally alarms me in seeing how the whole body of Indian media, cuting across the imaginable tags of regional, national, pro and anti-goverment,suddenly became the mouthpiece of the military.I don't think it's the case of lack of will or professional ethics to fact check the Indian military's story.

To my mind,it goes way deeper than that.Delh's political class, together with the military, have a quite talk with all the media houses and then, they formed a 'team' for a brief collaborative effort in national interest. That's the reason why we saw total unanimity in cheering the Indian military's story and a zero effort at fact checking.Imagine how two most unlikely agencies, media and military, forming a team, however brief it may. It's totally alarming. It's the most dangerous place we are living in.

If they can go this far,the inevitable question comes to the fore--'Is the Indian military's story merely a trial balloon?'.

It's more than a trial baloon.It's a multi-layered deception play.

As the Indian military's story is in retaliation to the June 4 ambush in Chandel(my last post),we need to ask how that ambush came about.

That ambush is the retaliatory move to the killing of more than 40 Burmese soldiers in Laukkaing, bordering Yunnan province of China.

If we go a little bit further,it's quite clear that the Laukaing ambush is yet another retaliatroty move to the public announcement of the battleline, way back in Nov 2014.

Again,if we look at the anatomy of the above moves and countermoves,it's quite reasonable to infer that India would rather cut a sorry figure amonst the comity of nations if it jumps headlong into the loop of these moves and countermoves. But it must be noted here that India is the sole architech of this anatomy. This own deed of India now prevents it from jumping headlong into the loop, even if it desires so.Looking from this angle the June 9 story is proving something more than a mere trial baloon. So,what's the options available to it?To my mind, the only option available to it is to persuade some rebels groups of Manipur to strike at the eco-system wherethe Khaplang group is an important player. But the Khaplang group itself would not be the target because doing so would not make New Delhi's point.

New Delhi's point or the doctrine behind the coming retaliation is to make as muuch as trouble to Burma as during the Laukkaing ambush(subjecting China to such trouble would come at a later stage, possibly with the active participation of US).So,the coming retaliation would happen somewhere inside Burma.

All the above deductions tell us that there would be radical churns withn the myriad rebel groups of Manipur vis a vis their inter-group relationship. With the whole weight of the Indian State bearing on the effort to persuade some rebel groups to make the retaliatory move on its behalf, the inter-group relationshjp amonst the rebel groups of Manipur would witness a sea change.

To my mind, many rebel groups, without even the persuasion from India, would secretly help the groups(which are New Delhi's choices) in making the retaliatory strke in the near future.A lot of radical changes are coming our way.

The 4th of June--patterns and memories

When more than 40 Burmese army were killed, the result was border tension between China and Burma.

Now,China started a live ammunition military drill near Burmese border(rmeinding us that the border is still tense) and then,suddenly,17 Indian armymen were killed and more 16 injured in an ambush in Chandel district.

I'm more interested in the emerging pattern than the comparative statement of the casualities of the two attacks.

The pattern does not stop here.

When the Burmese soldiers were killed,Mr Rajnath Singh was in Imphal on an official visit.

When the Indian soldiers were killed today,Mr Ashton Carter, the US defence secretary,is still in New Delhi on an official visit.

Looking back,it's clear that it takes 130  days to discern the pattern emerging out of the two ambushes. The pattern makers in the first ambush are Burmese army, ethnic Chinese and one Indian Dignitary,Mr Rajnath Singh. And,today's pattern makers are Indian army,Chinese army(in the form of live ammunittion drill) and one US dignitaty,Mr Ashton Carter.

In our scheme of things, the first two pattern makers of the ambushes may be considered to be the constants. So,the two variables are Mr Rajnath Singh and Mr Ashton Carter. If we look back,it would be clear that Mr Rajnath Singh brought the news of the ambush here at Imphal.Looking at today's ambush with the same logic but traversing in the opposite direction, could it be inferred that Mr Carter is being asked to bring further 'patterns' in the near future?

Would Mr Carter accept the challenge?

The last but not the least.I would be acused of being wifully overlooking the significance of the day the Mnipur ambush ttok place.Today is 4th of June which coomemorates the culmination of the students protest in Tiannemain Square. Is there any pattern out of the Tiannemian Square bloodshed and today's ambush?

This is a profound question and I have not the time to read up further into the Tiannemian Square students protest. So,I'll try my best by depending on my memories.

Was Hua Gua Feng accused of being a revisionist? Was the huge blood shed at the Tiannemian Square a result of steady creeping in of revisionist thoughts within the revolutionary cadres of China?

As far as my memories go,the word 'revisionsm' seems to be the main theme of the 4th of June blood shed in the Tiannemian Squeare.Gooing with this logic, does today's ambush trying to hint at the emegence of revisionist thought amongst the revolutionay cadres of Manipur?

I have no means of answering this question because I can only utilize the information culled from the newsreports.Would Manipur's newspapers ever talk about the terms like 'revisionsm?

Knowing my own limitatioms,I think I have tried my best.

4 armymen for every 2 rebels killed?

Today's newspaper report proves beyond any doubt the existence of the shrouded, yet increasingly discernible, battleplan,as mentioned in the beginning of my next to last post.

The shooting down of the two rebels precisely at the right moment(when we were observing the general strike,as detaled in my last post) was possible only because of the grasstroot level intel provided by the villagers. Those villagers, together with the ones who 'unintentionally' killed the two labourers(next to last post),are being projected to have formed the backbone of the battleplan.

The story,so far, goes according to the script.

The script gets skewed when the rebel group waited till this morning to announce that those two killed were their cadres.

Why did they choose to announce it after a gap of four days?

Did they wait for the news of the shooting down of four armymen in Kashmir(25th May) getting splashed all over the media?

If that's the script,is it the case of 4 armymen for every 2 rebels killed?

Soul grab,then,land grab.

We are observing a general strike to protest the land grab at the Northen point of our State.

I think it's a must to put on record the following points in the context of today's general strike.

1) In the run up to this general strike,ISIS,in a surprsie move, executed some brilliant 'land grabs'.It has already tightened its grip on the city of Ramadi. Then,it,again,is taking control of the ancient town og Palmyra in Syria. With this, they are already in control of nearly half of Syria.

2) The US,all of a sudden, think it appropriate to fly a Navy's Poseidon recon plane ovet the Chinese-controlled Spratley islands in South China sea.The main theme of this US action is to accuse China of 'land grab'in South China sea.

Putting on records these points makes us to grasp that the land-grabbing exercise at the Northen point of Manipur is not just a simple matter. It does have significant international repersursions.More than that,it also brings forth the glimpse of the coming of the broad anti-West coalition, foring an arch from Iraq,Syria,Russia and the South China sea.

Then, coming nearer home, why a tiny populace, like us,would have any interest in the this momentous anti-West coalition? The answer lies in the fact that the West,in its own interest, wants the status quo to remain intact in this part of the world. To attain this objective, they are aligning with India. But we do not want the status quo to continue--we want change.Unless we actively take part in the working of this anti-West coalition,we cannot entertain any hope to bring the make or break change in our polity,in our society and in our lifestyle.

Having considered all these points,it's now crystal clear that the latest land grab was initiated by those groups who are ranging against this anti-West coalition. They are the Dark Side, people who do not like changes. We must also carefully take note of the timing of the latest provocation. To my mind, they are building up for something big to happen at around 10th of June 2015.I think I don't need to repeat what 10th of June is.

The driving force behind the Dark Side is the ancient civilization which excel in soul grabbing. When your soul is being grabbed at,you become a zombie. You are controlled by a soft power,a formless, ethereal and unobtrusive thingie.Coming from such a foe,you know that you are under attack but you are confused about where the attack originates. For example,in today's context, the following questions are really crucial--

1) Are the Mao commmunity, which give the call for today's general strike, our real friends?

2) Are the Angamis, who physically started the land grab, our real enemy?

3) Does a force instigate the Angamis to initiate the land grab?

4) Does the same force coax the Maos to give the call for today's general strike?

All these point to the fact that when you want to retaliate you don't know where to aim your counter-attack.Your foe is a soft power--a formless, ethereal and unobtrusive thingie.

We do have a formidible foe, who, for sure, needs to be defeated.

Modi ie RSS wants 'soul grabbing' for Akhand Bharat(just like the ISIS for their Caliphate)

They cold-bloodedly killed the two innocent men and then, said they 'unintentionally'killed them!

Just as the cold-blooded killings were made to happen on the eve of Modi's china visit,it's to be forcefully inferred to as a 'deceitful' part of the ongoing battleplan of India.Just as Narendra Modi starts his China visit, their 'deceitful'battleplan truly succeeded in showing us the initial glipmse of the scale of unrest that would descend on the tiny state of Manipur.

Now,come to Karachi. There,ISIS also cold-bloodedly massacred more than 40 innocent lives and I,for one, want to express my heartfelt sorrow for the huge bloodletting.

But they are,at the least, not being deceitful. They are opening claiming that they are responsible for the huge bloodletting.

I have no inetention of rationalizing the idea behind the ISIS.But,at the same time, there is no point in wishing away the ISIS by expressing occassional outrages at their bloodletting. As something that's happening around us,it would be wise for us to make sense what they are and what they are upto.

In the Calipjate, the Koran is the sole law. And,in the Koran,Shia is the blasphemy itself and it sanctions to annihilate all things blasphemous. In ISIS Caliphate, they are executing what have been sanctioned in the Koran lock, stock and barrel. The Koran sanctions executions and so, there are continual executions inside ISIS Caliphatte.(I,for one, never ever watch an execution video of the ISIS because it would be too distasteful for me).Christians are permissible, albeit with a tax. They
are expanding the Caliphate in preparation for the final battle where the Anti-Messiah would be slain,in a battlefield that would take place in,of all places,Jerusalem.

For this preparation of the final battle,ISIS demands full and unconditional allegiance of all the Muslims of the world.

In other words, what the ISIS is doing is the massive 'soul grabbing'exercise for this final battle.

Now, the theme of Narendra Modi's China visit is 'Asia for Buddha'.In other words,Modi, just like the ISIS,wants a watered down 'Caliphate'--the 'Greater India'--where Budhism is the unquestioned law,if not the sole one, like in ISIS Caliphate.

To this, add the RSS idea of Akhand Bharat. The RSS wants the whole of Pakistan,Afghanistan,Nepal,Tibet etc to be merged with the Indian Union. This super India is what they call the Akhand Bharat.

In other words, the RSS is doing a massive 'soul grabbing' exercise for their watered down 'Caliphate'.

So,what's the difference between the RSS and the ISIS? Why we continually express this monstrous abhorence for the ISIS? Why we are taking the RSS as more or less acceptable? Why?

The only difference I can see is that massive bloodletting and cruelty of abnormal kind are associated with the ISIS whereas the RSS is deemed to be meekly.

But this 'meekly' Modi is dreaming of grabbing the soul of whole of China by using the Buddha.

Feudalism and liberation--their endless antagonism

When I read this story,an inner voice immediately told me that the CPI(Maoist)is about to embark on the next phase of their struggle.

Sure enough, the RSS men retaliated really fast.Today,Narendra Modi(whom the RSS chief,Mr Mohan Bhagwat, publicly annuonced in Imphal as a RSS man) announced a Rs 24,000 crore steel plant, which will create 10,000 jobs.Mr Modi made this announcement at Dantewada.

Of coourse,we should not fail to note that all these are happening just a few days before the office of the prime ministershuip of the Indian state is about to get a first hand feel of the place where Maoism was born.

I'm not an expert in this field but I have this strong feeling that the RSS is the true heir to the progenitors of the caste system, which is nazism in its true form.

At the time of the formation of the caste system, peopl emaight have looked at the progenitors and exclaimed--'Look,how fair they are!'.It's not rocket science to presume that the lightness of skin colour might be a strong positive at that time.'And the elucidation!See how they have answers for any question!!'Again.it's not rocket science to presume that all the people at that time were mesmerised by the endless arrays of ideas and stories enshrined in the Vedas,Upanishads and puranas.

So,the people at that time were not given the chance to make choice on the fairness or unfairness of the idea of caste system.Astonistingly, they were totally bewitched by the simple exhibition of the appearance and capability of the progenitors.

Just like this, the RSS is bewitching the people of India right at the moment.People look at the people manning the RSS and exclaimed--'See the spartan way they are living their lives! How disciplined they are!!'Instead of debating the idea behind the RSS the Indian people,at this century, seemed to be totally bewitched by the simple exhibition of the appearance and capabitlity of the people who manage the RSS.

But there is one crucial difference now.

Another group of people who are quitely building up their strenght by living their lives as spartan and as discipliined as that of the RSS are about to present a choice to the people of India. They would be saying--'Make a choice between what we are offering and the offering made by the RSS'.

The CPI(Maoist) will be offering the true liberation of the Indian people by decisively destroying the feudal ideas and institutions. For this purpose they are being guided by Maoism, which,at least,in China was wildly successful in decisively uprooting the feudal ideas and institution.

And,the offering by the RSS?

Hindu Supremism, which is the extreme form of Nazism(which,in turn, can only flourish in that field nourished by feudal ideas and norms).

Under cyberattacks(updated)

Why there is this sudden buzz about cyberattacks?

And why should I received two surprising SMSes all of a sudden?

The said SMSes were received from a Hyderabad company offering online trading of stocks.I did actually received the first SMS yesterday evening(imagine how the company executives are being energized to work late into a Sunday evening)!

The SMSes told me that it is NOW okay to trade by using their browser-based tool. The key word is NOW because it has not been okay since many months.

For many months now I have been under a constant cyber attacks.

1) First,I was blocked from logging into their trading console. This console is company-issued software which we need to download and install into our computers.Immediately I shot off an email detailing my problem. No response, which,in itself,is a surprise because this particular email id is a very privileged one, specifically supplied to registered users only.As such,we always received a very prompt responses.

2) Then,I tried their browser-based tool.It worked for some days. Then,I was blocked again there as well. This time I was genuinely surprised.Did they achieve the blockade by utilizing my specific ip address?Did they actually keep track of the ip addresses assigned to me?After some initial confusion,I began to reason that they might have block off all of the ip addresses originating from Manipur. It's because users from Manipur have been deserting the company because of a tax problem and I might be one of the last very few users left.

It's to be noted here that I can still log into their browser-based tool but the live streaming part of the tool does not work. And I need the live streaming part the most.In case of their console, once I got logged into it,there might not be ways to deny the live streaming part and so,I was blocked off completely.

I think trading in stock is everything to do with pattern reading. And I genuinely think that I manage to find out some consistent patterns by using their console, that too by working on it for some three/four years, during which,I must hasten to note,I did incur considerable losses.Just when I was beginning to give final touches to my patterns, they did block me off. That destroys my four years of hard work.

Why should I meekly give in to a publicly traded company's wicked whim?

Military Intelligence. That's the reason.I genuinely suspect that the Military Intelligence quietly talk to the Hyderabad company and started all these cyberattacks. If the second largest military of the world decides to inflict cyber attacks to a poor blogger, what options would he get,in the first place?

So,I opted for practicability.I immediately jumped to the browser-based charts.

My first strategy was to get first initial patterns from their console and then, get themselves again tested in the browser-based charts. Now,I have no option but to solely depend on browser-based charts.(I have software when paired with subscription data delivers really live feeds and charts but browsers are getting better and better--to the point where we can use it for actual trade, especially,in case of NSE feed).

Would India'a military try to deny me the charts supplied by the likes of Google and Yahoo?.I think they have already got the tools to do it.That they so accurately track my ip addresses means that they have already thoroughly hacked my computer.I have a commercially available anti-virus and internet security software installed but it's almost certain that it cannot fend off a military grade attack.

As long as I manage to get the charts I will continue my works. When they start to stand between the charts and me,I would think of options available to me all over again.

UPDATE
18-04-15(8 pm)

As soon as Barack Obama penned an a piece on TIME singing paean to Narendrra Modi,a pro-Russian journalist was shot dead in Ukraine. They are saying--'We also target journalist,if our national interest demand it'.

Then,300 US paratroopers descended on Ukraine, ostensibly for training purpose.

Here,we have to note that Ukraine and Burma are unexpectedly fast becoming the frontline of the great two forces slowly gathering along the battleline.

From the frontline to the place where there is the centre of gravity--that link, right now,is a bit hazy and that's the reason why they need a person like Mr Amit Shah to give a hint to it.The opposing party know this and that's why Amit Shah's chopper acted funny at the last moment, just  like the Airforce One did in Germany during Narendra Modi's just concluded visit.(They said it was the bad weather which compelled Amit Shah to cancel his chopper ride and to opt for arduos road journey to
Imphal.Today's Imphal weather, which can be generally taken as a relaible barometer of what might be there at Kohima,is not that bad that would warrant a cancellation of a chopper flight).

So,Mr Amit Shah's hastily announced Imphal visit is meant to convey the message that what has been happening in the last few days in Ukraine is actually meant for the Manipuri rebels.

That there was a shooting down of a journalist might imply that the cyberattacks on this blogger is already becoming a big issue, which I don't have much liking for.I prefer to be left alone to enable me to do what I enjoy most--finding trends and patterns. So,I won't dwell much on this part.

The next part,of course,is the arrival of US paratroopers.

If we look back at the important military operations against the Manipuri rebels we would realize that the para regimens had always serve as the hard cutting edge of the attacks. The other troopers, such as the Assam Rifles, serve as the roles of those doing what they call the area domination.

That they have brought the US paratroopers in Ukraine might imply that the Indian para regimens might have been readying themselves for actions against the Manipuri rebels.

So,we might hear some big news soon.

How soon?

Here,we have to take note of another hurriedly annoounced visit--that of Chinese president,Mr Xi Jinping.

So,we might hear the big news during Xi visit(of Indonesia and pakistan) which he is begining on 20th April 15.

Brand-new plane accidents on the way(updated)?

India's prime minister is beginning a three nations official starting 8th of Aprl. The three nations are Canada,France and Germany.

Is this the case me imagining things? All the above three nations were very recently linked up by plane accidents.

First the Germanwings plane was crashed in the France Alps.Sure enough, that plane crash is still buliding up to be one of great mysteries of the aviation history.

Another Air Canada plane had had a miraculous escape in UK.

Just today,a Malaysian chopper crashed, killing a very close official of the Malaysian prime minister. The said official also happened to be the past ambassador to US.

I have this strong hunch that this chopper crash is meant to serve as a bridge between the above two plane accidents and the flight MH 370,the greatest ever mystery of the aviation accidents(engineered by India). All these are happening during the weeks as they are slowly marching towards the 8th of April, when Inida's prime minister starts the said three nations tour.

If I'm not imagining things,it's logical to say that several brand-new plane accidents are coming as the Indian prime minster starts his three nations tour.

UPDATE
07-04-15(8.10pm)

That they have come back to the planted story(my last post) again is subtle way to convey that they are on course--be it engineering accidents involving airplanes or outsourcing fighting(like they are doing right at the moment at Kokang region, bordering Yunam province of China).

When I wrote this original post I had absolutely no idea that the joint intelligence team from New Delhi was in Imphal. What triggered my post was the news of the Malaysian chopper crash.A case of pure coincidence.

But the news that they would submit their report to the prime minister is pure conncoction.Ovbiously, people in New Delhi have already more detailed reports prepared by the military.

So,what are trying to say when they let be known that they are right now on course in executing their scheduled tasks?

To my mind, their most pressing task is to counter the figth-back by Burma.Slowly but surely Burma is turning its gun to those who outsource  the fighting currently raging in Kokang region.

Burma has colour coded citizenship cards for three categories of citizen.Besides these three categories of colour coded cards, they had recently issued white cards to the stateless people which enable them to vote in the last election. These white card holders naturally think that the cards are the harbingers to the legally accepted citizenship documents.

But contrary to their belief the Burmese authorities are in the process of taking back the white cards, which,in the first place,do not mean anything in the legal system and constitution of Burma.

Amongst those surrendering the white cards are the people of Indian origin, known as Kala, which,I suspect, has some derogatory connotation. As per the estimate of New Delhi they are more than 2.5 milliom in numbers.

So far, the world has heard enough of what is happening in Arakan region of Burma. The main story there is hardship and agony of the stateless Bengali settlers there.

The people of Indian origin has the same legal status as these Bengali settlers,But the world has,so far,not heard enough of them.

Now,the situation has suddenly changed. This sudden change was brought about by the New Delhi's outsourcing of their fight with Burmese government to the Konkan Chinese, most lokely by monetary allurement. As the Burnese has slowly started aiming their guns to those who outsource the fighting, the focus now comes to the people of Indian origin. What will happen to them?

Evidently,New Delhi has already started sending out high officials to the areas bordering Burma to find 'materials' to counter those imminent moves by the Burmese government.

I have this strong hunch that the joint intelligence team, currently in Imphal,is a part of that exercise.

Where the personal and the public intersect

Years back,I was confronted with a pretty big personal problem.

I know it's a lame statement because everybody always have some sort of personal problems. But I've started out with this statement to highlight how my friends had reacted to my personal problem then. And,to put this story in right perspective,I must hasten to add that many of friends are now business leaders, thought leaders and social leaders.

!)Some of my friends thought I myself was the problem!

That's quite understandable because I have this feeling that I am not an easy person  to make acquainted with! But they should had gone a little deeper than that facet of mine which was mainly informed by the reigning social etiquette and mores.Part of the reason why they didn't do was their refusal to go beyond the tangible. They didn't( and still do not) like the intangibles in life.

For most persons, that should have been the end of that episode. But by the incident of birth,I (and my family) happen to stand right in the focus of a vicious propaganda onslaught of one of the most prominent feudal lords of Manipuri society.Gradually,I discover that what all of my friends had known me(me,the person, the tangible) was actually the several layers of smears of generations of propaganda onslaught by a feudal lord.

Now comes the most intriguing part. How can many of friends become thought leaders, social leaders when they can't even see through the propaganda of a mere feudal lord?

This is a bewildering question. But the sense of bewilderment subsides(at least, for me) when I experience that all the professors of Manipur with whom I have had personal contact are so full prejudices! What on earth are the prejudicial professors? This can only happen inside a 'box' erected by nazism, that is Indian. The success rate of propagation of India's nazism is directly proportionate to the degree of how well they erect such 'boxes'.In plain words, such 'boxes' are the 'special category' playing fields where you can have prejudicial professors!

All my friends,by virtue of becoming unquestioning residents of the 'box',can become thought leaders, social leaders while they are still incapable of seeing through the propaganda of a mere feudal lord. All my friends, alas, could not(and still cannot) intellectually jump out of the 'box' erected by India's nazism.

2)The remainder of my friends did not want to take side.

I,myself did not want any of my friends to come to my side. So,I never did talk to them about my big personal problem.Again, for most persons,it would be the end of that episode. But all of my friends then were either student activists or social activists. That fact adds a new tenor and tone to the above statement.I still strongly feel that what they did then was a conscious effort to take the middle path--the great middle way. That is precisely the principle which, I think, forms the pinnacle of indian nazis propaganda.

In other words, all of my friends have graduated from wholesale swallowing of the propaganda of a mere feudal lord to the more socially accepted doses of finer propaganda emanated out of India's nazism!Finer propganda like peace talk!!

I'll wrap up my personal story with another statement that I managed to wrestle through my big personal problem with the help of two men--one I met in person and the other,in his writings.I'll mention only the later.Through Noam Chomsky writings I came to understand that all 'power centres' inherently try to project their stories to their surrounding. This apparently ordinary sounding precept immensely helped me in understanding and tackling my big personal problems.

Now, I would use the words 'power centres' to connect with what is personal to what is social to me.

My childhood is,in the main, the story of constant threat from feudalism, which is the 'powe centre' in its shabbiest form.As a queer case of sudden transportation form the personal domain to that of the public,I'm, right now, sensing serious threats to my society from various 'power centres'.

Reminiscing of my childhood, blogging now is an exercise of escaping the the influence of 'power centres' because media houses are 'power centres' in themselves. For the first time in human history,an ordinary citzen can publish stuffs( with the every possibility of finding substantial readers),all the while steering clear of various 'power centres' of the society.Inthis sense, blogging is revolutionary(but,I'm not saying bloggers are all revolutionaries!)

But I have no chance of escaping. We can see how several 'power centres'have conspired together to respond to my last post. They have planted a story in a leading newspaper. They forced a newsreport to appear on the pages dated 1st April 15 based on a conversation happened way back in December 2014!This particular newsreeport gleefully talks of peace talk with New Delhi.

In the context of my last post, the newsreport intends to drop enough hints that the Indian state would not only persuade the Kachin Independent Army not to ratify the Burmese ceasefire document but also would persuade more rebel groups of Manipur to join the likes of  peace talk, presently engaged by NSCN(IM).

That they have taken this subtle route of dropping the hints means that the Indian state have already made big gains in persuading several rebel groups to the idea of peace talk with New Delhi. But the said rebel groups would not come out openly for peace talks.instead, they would stay back within the folds of rebel ecosystem and try to wreck the whole superstructure of Manipur's rebellion tradition from inside of it.

Now,a naval blockade

We have just come to face to face with a naval blockade. The Suadi-led allies have started blockading the ports of Yemen using their combined navies.

I'm not quite certain of this but the last time the world had seen another naval blocakde might be during the Cuban missile crisis, way back in the Sixties.Even reckoning on the interval of the  occurence of naval blockading of nations, the present naval blockading of Yemen is a very significant in human history.

More than this,Yemen has already become a very significant symbol for us as well.

With this,we must not forget that both Iran and Russia are under West-enforced blockades because econnic sanctions are just another name for economic blockade.

Sure, just the mention of the words,'economic blockades' makes me flinch. And,I bet I'm not alone in this experience. But,most interestingly,I'm forced to use these words, not because some people in the hills of Manipur announce the programme of 'economic blockade' but because of the developments around the world. So,some parts of today's world have deteriorated to a level as bad as the situation of 'econmic blockade-prone' Manipur.

To make the already moody atmosphere much more worse,India's defence minister is currently in Tokyo, talking, what else, military affairs with the Japanese. Not to be outdone,China inexplicably start talking about its army and battles.

Nearer home,Burma has just completed preparing the draft ceasefire agreement with its myriad ethnic nationalities. Now,they will present the draft agreement to all the nationalities for ratifications.

Now,we are confronted with a very interesting scenario. The scenario in which most of the nationalities more or less willingly sign on the document with the exception of Kachin Independent Army, which is most likley  be persuaded(by india and its Western allies) not to ratify the agreement. If this scenario actually comes out true, then we would have a very clear picture of who are on which side of the battleline.

Today also presents us with a cruel deadline.Iran has all the time in the world until this midnight to accede to the demands of the West. Here also,we are again face with two equally cruel scenarios.

1)Iran and Western powers fail to come to an agreement.Anticipating such a scenario,Us has already stationed a squadron of its newest military toy,F-35.Would US start

bombing nuclear facilities of Iran?

2)Iran and Western powers come to an agreement.Just at this moment, would Israel hasten to bomb the nuclear facilities of Iran?

Both the scenarios are actually cruel. The West and it allies are lumbering on a war path. So,we are staring at a war encompassing whole of the Islamic world. With the

protection of the oilfields and its ally in the region,Israel,as its foremost national interst task, the Us (and its allies) would be tied down with a conduct of the

looming war. With US influend out of Asia(howsoever temporary it may be)the battleline nearer home would certainly get red hot.Would Burma's draft ceasefire agreement serve as the proverbial spark?

Is this the kind the situation which we call historic?

But one thing is quite certain--the wait for the deadline would be nerve-wrecking,in the true sense of the term.

UPDATE
10.20 pm

Just heard over the radio that 2 Indian troopers were killed in a rebel attack in Ukhrul district in early morning today.

Incidentally,I was with the radio upto 4 pm listening to the news but no news about the attack. The news only came to us on 7.30 pm news.No traces of the news in any online news aggregator ,even at the time of this update.Surprised!

As the attack happened in Ukhrul district it's almost certain that the attackers were operating out of Burma. And,this morning in Burma there was the completion of the drafting of  the ceasefire agreement.

So,this morning attack is meant to challenge the Indian State not to persuade the Kachin Independent Army to ratify the ceasefire agreement!A challenge indeed!!

Two ambushes and twin blasts--their meanings?

Just learnt about the ambush by a Kuki-Mizo-Chin armed group, though it happened this morning in Manipur-Mizoram border.

Actually,I heard about it over the radio as I was cooking my meal.

My instinctive reaction--is it somehow connected with an ambush and twin bomb blast in Nagaland?

As I was eating my meal I was trying to digest the news as well!

The ambush and the twin blasts happened two days to the north of us.This morning's ambush just happened to the south of us!But this does not help us in finding a pattern.Yet,in description itself of what happened to the north of us leads us to at least one anomaly--bomb blast in Nagaland is more or less an anomaly. So what happened two days ago in Nagaland was something for not internal to Nagaland?

If it's not for something internal to Nagaland, then,is it there any possibility that it's somehow connected with this morning's ambush?

A lot of questions indeed.

But we can find some answers for the ambush that happened this morning.

1) The attackers are from Kuki-Mizo-Chin community. This immediately leads us to Kachin Independent Army. This,in turn, leads us to the battleline.

2) The ambush happened one day ahead of a marathon race and a global youth meet in Imphal.

Although nobody is saying it openly,it's quite a common knowledge which rebel group is behind both the marathon race and the global youth meet. So, this morning's ambush is trying to elucidate who are on which side of the battleline.(Did the sudden dismissal of the Mizoram governor today by New Delhi say that New Delhi is the main author of this elucidation exercise? If so,New Delhi is responding to the twin blasts in Nagaland by way of this elucidation exercise?)

Going on with this logic, the unusual twin bomb blasts in Nagaland were triggered to elucidate who are on which side of the battleline?

I'm just attempting a logical deduction.I admit that I can't attempt to find out the answer within a short span of two hours.

The battleline and another Chinese visit(updated).

We all know that the batlleline was publicly drawn when Chinese troops visited Pune on 18th Nov 14.

Now,another Chinese delegation is arriving in Delhi on 23rd March 15.

What will happen this time around?

I am keenly watching all the proceedings!

UPDATE
24-03-15(9.20 pm)

Two things had happened.

1)As the Chinese delegates were arriving in New Delhi,Burmese army suddenly expanded its operation against the Kachin Independent Army. Here is the link to the full news report.

2)China executed three Uighurs, who,in a rampaging knife attack in Kummin railways last year, killed 32 people. The execution happened just as the Chinese delegate leader was meeting the Indian prime minister in New Delhi. These should be read in the context of what had been happening around Kummin(read:Chinese warplanes scrambling for combat sorties) and of the fact the Uighurs were directly manipulated from inside India.

But,these are,as it is,the distant rumblings,may be,at best,distant war dance or war drums.

What about things nearer home?

I was again stumped by what had happened near me.Part of the reason is that the thing came to us in such a unremarkable fashion.

As unremarkable as this news item--some third parties urging start of talk between Manipur govt and the agitators regarding the bill, which aims to safeguard the indigenous people of Manipur. This is just another routine news item, probably ignored by almost all the people. But,when this unremarkable news suddenly cropped up,out of nowhere just as the Chinese delegates were landing in New Delhi, then,it starts to carry altogether new and profound meanings.

--The Indian military would join the battleline just as the polarisation of the Manipur society for and against the bill have peaked.--

Unknown to us,there might be several brainstorming sessions, quitely and privately carried out as soon as the Assembly session ended and Manipuri society was observing a bandh against the bill(all the while wondering who was behind the Muslim-targeted bomb blast--supporters or opponents of the bill?) .These brainstorming sessions might have already decided on several amendments to the bill, which they thought, might enable them to regulate the migrant workers, that too, while parking themselves within the ambit of the spirit of the Constitution of India.Having achieved this, they might have sounded out third parties lobbying for the start of the talk.

That they had timed the third party lobbying for the talk with the arrival of the Chinese delegates in New Delhi points to the coming of the polarization fast and furious. We would witness this arrival of the polarization on the streets of Imphal. If they don't work hard and fast for the polarization, there is ample chance of themselves getting 'smudged' by the battleline itself.

As soon as the polarization starts to peak, the Indian military would move in.They would attempt a debilitating military blow to the leading sections of the Manipuri society who would spearhead the movement against the bill.

Thursday, March 12, 2015

The battleline--is it too hot to handle for the Indian State?

Come to think of this--two days long bandh has just descended on us!

Anything particular about these two days?

The same two days during which Indian prime minister is scheduled to stay in Sri Lanka on his official tour!!

If anybody reads this together with my last post,it would be crystal clear that this turn of event carries immense meaning. My last post talks about how the Indian state might exercise its military option against the Manipuri rebels while its prime minster is staying in Sri Lanka for two days. These two particular days are 13th and 14th of March.

It's really a fascinating sight how the Indian state has been artistically maneuvering towards these two days since the 9th Feb.Even US president Barack Obama took his measured participation in this maneuver!

Then, they traveled all the way to the region where East and West literally collide. There they murdered an upcoming opposition leader, that too,as another part of the maneuvre!!

Having become a witness of all these artistic and almost subline maneuvre of Indian state, this blogger must have all the sympathy of the world when he says that he has been breathlessly waiting for the grand finalle on 13th and 14th!

But the bandh that has descended on us is saying that we might be staring at a grandiose anti climax. If it's the anti climax then,it's irrefutable to conclude that India state all along know that the battleline is way too hot for its temperament--it is so artistically trying to avoid the battleline.

Gosh, all those maneuvres just means for frightening people away from the battleline, concealing its own fright in the process!

Boris Nemtsov,Burmese students and flight MH 370(updated)

As we were reading the news of the assassination of Boris Nemtsov,it was clearly a news born out of Russia's internal dynamics. But within days of the assassination, the uncharacteristically defiant students protest suddenly surfaced in Burma.

The juxtaposition of the two apparently unrelated events is making my mind racing, itching to find out more and,if possible,to connect the dots.

Adding fuels to my already pumped up mind is the fact that we are only two hours away from the first anniversary of the fateful take off of the Malaysian airlines MH 370.Eight and half hours from now,the pilot would cooly switch off all communication devices onboard the plane.

So,was Boris Nemtsov assassinated because of another Malaysia airlines flight,MH17?

So far, nobody is saying that downing of MH17 is,in any way, related with MH370.But we know that MH17 was hit by a missile over an area held by Russian rebels. So,are some agencies  trying to link up the two airplanes by assassinating Boris Nemtsov?

By the same logic, the same agencies are trying to link up the two Malaysia airline flights,MH 370 And MH17,with Burma.

WHY?

I know it's becoming rather too bizarre. So,I hasten to clarify that I'm not doing logical deductions.Rather it's the case of what writers of spy thrillers call the 'gazing at the  mosaic' of apparently unrelated information, data.Viewed from this angle the assassination of Boris Nemtsov,Burmese students protest, flights MH 370 and Mh17,at the least, form such a mosaic.

Right at the moment,we are witnessing the curfew clamped on a town, following the bizzarest of a mob fury.We must not fail to note that the town houses the headquarters of the 3rd Corp of Indian Army.

Does this latest event also form the part of our mosaic?

UPDATE
09-03-15(6 pm)

The beauty of tirelessly putting in apparently unrelated information, data in a mosaic is that, with some luck,we might see some patterns developed in it.

In our mosaic let's put in this piece of easily overlooked information. The part of the reason why it's so easily overlooked is that it's so near us--so near,in fact, that we almost fail to notice it.

Here is the information in the form of a question.

Why was the current session of Manipur Legislative Assembly set to reconvene on 13th and 16th of March, skipping as many as four working days?

Before answering this(meaning before properly starting to insert it in the mosaic) it would be proper to see what they are trying to achieve on this two working days. They are trying to protect the indigenous people Manipur by an act of law under the constitution of India. To achieve this they would try to regulate the free movement and settlement of Indian citizens in the state of Manipur. In a sense,it's like testing the 'elasticity' of the constitution of India. It's really interesting here to note that New Delhi has already demonstrated that they can make it as 'elastic' as the 'accommodation'' given to the likes of Mr Masarat Alam.Seen in this light, the whole Masarat Alam episode might have been wholly stage-managed.In other words,it's another way of saying that Indian Constitution is so in-exhaustively full of carrots.

They are going to dangle the carrots on the 13th and 16th.

They are also trying to say that if the carrots are not accepted, there are also sticks as well(as explained below by way of answering our question).

Now is the right moment to answer our question and thus start inserting the information in our mosaic.

The reason why the Assembly session was reconvened on the 13th March is that Mr Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India would be in Sri Lanka on this particular day on the last leg of his three nation official visit.

Doesn't the name Sri Lanka instantly remind us the most effective 'stick' administered to an insurgent group in recent history?

Besides this, the Indian prime minister has this irresistible glee to show off his most recent 'victory' over China--how he so subtly snatched Sri Lanka away from the 'clutch' of China. What better option is there than to show off his 'trophy' by administering an equally effective stick to the rebels of Manipur, widely believed to be supported by China.

So,besides the carrots being dangled in the floor of the state Assembly, the 13th of March 2015 might be the day on which we are most likely to witness the sticks of the 'nazi' Indian state.(Or,is it the 10th March, the day the Indian prime minister starts his three nations tour? The 10th March '15 is the 56th anniversary day of Tibetan uprising way back in 1959.So, which one is the decoy date--10th or 13th?)

This must be reason why we are seeing the assassination of Boris Nemtsov linking flights MH370 and MH 17 which, then, points towards Burma. And when we talk of Burma we instantly remember Manipuri rebels.

Choosing information over propaganda and its price.

Once during my college days,I tried to read a Puya.I could not even understand the first word.Even then I came to realize it's a specialist's job to read Puyas. But,like most people, the Puyas are still really intrigueing.

After posting my next to last post(which talked of three-way fight in present day Manipur),a thought has been keeping on nagging me.Is this three-way fight what the Puyas talk of as 'po ahum chainani'? I even don't know if it's an extract from a Puya but the general blelief is it is.

Even if it's all made up in my minds, this morning's headlines nonetheless tell us that one group of the three-way fight would be the 'constitutionalist'.

Much more intriguing than the fancyful links to the Puyas is the sudden realization that the likes of the person not less the super powerful,Mr Barack Obama, throws their weights behind the 'constitutuionalist'.

Barack Obama? Seriously?

Let the series of events of the past week answer it for themselves.

It turned out that Mr Barack Obama phoned his Chinese counterpart just when the clash between the Burmese soldiers and the rebels was raging near the border with China. The phone call indirectly told the Chinese president what the Americans (together with the Indians) could pulls of nasty things at their borders.Still not convinced that the particular Obama phone call is not just a simple one, loaded with indirect meaning? Then we have to remember how the Pakistan Prime Minister suddenly developed this irresistible desire to make a phone call to Mr Barack Obama. To make things even more interesting, this mysterious desire of the Pakistan prime minister began tormenting him with 48 hours of the Obama's call to the Chinese president! But it's only starting to get interesting!!For one thing, what the Pakistan prime minister told Mr Obama during the most interesting(even historic!) phone call?Get ready the answer--Mr Nawaz Sharif actually told the American president that he opposed the elevation of India to the security council of the UN!

Even if US and India were co-ordinating the rebel attacks on Burmese soldiers, what's the point in dragging in the name of Mr Obama here?

Two dates are the keys.

1)The 9th of Feb 2015.It's the date on which attack on Burmese army started. It's also the day on which the armed wing of the oldest rebel group in Manipur was born some twenty years ago.The attack on the Burmese army on this day meant as an eye for an eye reprisal for Burmese army's attack on the Kachin's stronghold at Laiza.

2)The 13th of Feb 2015.It's the day on which we first heard of the attack of the 9th.It's not an incident that Mr Rajnath Singh,India's home minister was staying the night of the 13th in Imphal.

So,if we read together the above two points,it's clear that US and India are co-ordinating in counterattacks on the oldest rebel group of Manipur. They are openly saying--'We don't have any liking for present uneven competition meted out to all other group by the oldest rebel group--so,we have started attacking the oldest rebel group--in this context,it's imperative that you should come out and co-ordinate with us in attacking this particular rebel group'.

More than the rebel groups themselves,US and India are coordinating in influencing sections of people within the Manipuri society. The timing of the visit of Rajnath Singh bears testimony to the fact the they are throwing their weights behind the 'constitionalist'(Does it mean that they would get their demand of getting a particular law enacted?I don't think so.The 'constitutionalsit' as they are today are still not acceptable to New Delhi. They want much more waterdown version. The coming
months would see New Delhi's attempts to wear down the 'constitutionalist' to their liking).

But one thing is quite certain that our compatriots like Shans, chins etc are getting more than what the 'constitutionalist' of Manipur are demanding. They are virtually independent. But they are still wallowing in the morass of smuggling, gambling and prostitution. They are selling themselves to the rising mass of China's middle class. Why don't they attempt a rise just like the Chinese are doing in front of their own eyes?

We have a similar question here also. Why don't the sophisticates in our society abandon the fine arts of pocketing New Deli's subsidy? Why don't they make a start for creative wealth making?Would the 'constitutionalist' much trumpeted Act would help us in taking the above paths?

So,what prevents us from taking that path?

To my mind, nothing short of 'enlightenment' would prepare us to take to that path.Unlike what the 'constitutionalsit' are thinking 'enlightenment' is not easy.It was shown in Europe that it was blood and tumult all the way.If we go with the 'constitutionlast' scheme of thing 'enlightenment' entail a lot signing on the official looking papers, shaking of hands and then announcing that 'we are all enlightened from this day onwards'.But history shows us that it did not work like that way.

But who would want bloodshed? Why history always demand such a huge dose of blood letting?

These are very profound questions and I'm quite certain that I'm not equal to the task of answering them. But,as the situation in Manipur is hotting up,it's everybody's responsibility  to try answer these questions. With my limited knowledge,I'm tryingmy best.(I know it's the queer case of unknown blogger trying to be bit philosophical!)

To my mind.it's everything to do with putting yourself in direct bonding with that of state of being where  there is primacy of information. You are trying to make sense of the information being gathered by your senses in real time. You have to act quickly on them.Otherwise, you get killed. So,there is a lot of blood. It's the stark conditions for a duelist. For enlightenment you yourself have to be a duelist fighting a series of battles with the status quo.

Until and unless you pass through that of being you can never bond with the primacy of information with the result that you are likely to be swayed by the petty propaganda flying around you.

But the tragedy here is that unless you are ready to spill your own blood as price of that experience, you can never bond with that state of being--you can  never understand what a true information is--you can never let that part inside of you grow up that will enable you to distinguish between information and propaganda--you can never get 'enlightened'.

I'm using the metaphor of an individual self for the purpose of easy reasoning.Even though individual self has other means for attaining 'enlightenment',besides being a duelist, the collective self of a society has had this compulsion of going through the above mentioned state of being. This is hard lesson we learn from history.

Isn't it the sufficient reason why history demand such a huge dose of bloodletting?

Rajnath Singh visit:forcing a re-alignment in Manipur?

It's really surprising for me to notice such a quick arrival of another very fine-grained attacking move. It's barely a week since we witnessed the first fine-grained attacking move(my last post). This time the move is being executed by Mr Rajnath Singh,India's home minister.

Going by his publicly known schedule, his first priority is Moreh. He will fly there immediately after arrival here in Imphal.

But the most interesting part is that he would be meeting leaders of civil society organizations. In this engagement, the recent highway blockade in Tengnoupal is most likely to come up.As is almost customary in such situation, the home minsiter is most likely to respond that he would look into the grievance of the villagers of Tengnoupal against the Assam Rifles troopers there.

But within two weeks timeframe the most eagerly awaited piece of legislation(which New Delhi wants to nip in the bud by deploying numerous highway blockades in the hills) would come up for discussion on the floors of the Manipur Legislative Assenbly.By design,in Tengnoupal nothing would change in spite of home minsiter's assurance. That's just right moment for starting a bockade along the Imphal-Moreh highway.

The home minister is so carefully creating this right moment.

2)The home minister himself is presenting in person in Manipur to give the most easiest way for the Manipur chief minster to 'consult' him on the coming legislation.Would the Manipur chief minster take this opporutnity?

If so,would he invite the agitators as well to join the 'consultation' session with the home minsiter?

Would the agitators also willingly join the 'consultation' session?

To my mind, the answer to this last question would have an immense impact on the political scenario in Manipur. So immense that it would tantamount to having gotten a complete and decisive re-alignment in the tortured Manipuri political discourse, thereby making it clearer where the battleline would run.

3)If we read the above two points carefully enough,we should not be able to miss out on this crucial point--Mr Rajnath Singh's Manipur visit is actually a very fine-grained attacking move. The unspoken part of the visit is the profound message sent out to the agitators--"Come to my lap--come to the comfortable lap of New Delhi".

Will the agitators happily accept this invitation?

Postscript:In another major surprising development, the US president actually called up the Chinsese president over the phone to discuss cyber warfare. This happened barely  one week after the plane crash in Taiwan, which we believe to be target of the West's cyber warfare(my last post). Is the US president owning up this cowardly attack on the civilian passenger plane? Here is the link.

UPDATE
13-02-15(10.30 pm)

News just in--nearly 50 Burmese soldiers killed in clashes with rebels near border with China.Burma formally  notifies China about the clashes because thousands of civilians are fleeing into China.

What's most interesting  for us is that the news reaches us here in Imphal the same night in which Rajnath Singh is also staying there (even though it had started on the 9th Feb and still continuing).

Here is the VOA news link.

The battleline and the coming faultline:would they become collinear?

Within a few days of the public declarartion of the battleline, India also publicly leaped up on the comfortable lap of the US of A.Remember how the India's prime minister breathlessly announced the coming the American president to the 26th Jan ceremony while the Chinese troops were still in Pune.

As the US president was landing in New Delhi, the Houthi inusrgents in Yemen surrounded the Presidential Palace, trapping the president himself inside, who is a close ally of the USA.The message was quite clear---"Even if both US And India have banded together,we are still more than ready for battle".

Another 'we are also ready for battle' came out in full public view in yet another state visit--this time, the just concluded State visit of India's foreign minsiter to China. This is discernible in four different ways--

1)The same morning when India's foreign minsiter was to leave for Beijing, there was the test fire of the cannisterized version of the Agni 5 ICBM.And even the most naive knows  that Agni 5 is specially developed with China firmly in mind.

2)The next day when the Indian Foreign minister was settling down for business in Beijing, massive demonstrations mysteriously materialized in the streets of Hong Kong.

3)The sane day day,Maoists in Chhatisgarh suddenly attacked a police patrol party, killing two policemen.

4)We are still in the same day and this time around,a Lt Gen,commanding the 3rd Corp of India's military had had a narrow escape when his chopper crashed at his Corp headquarters at Dimapur.

To top it all, there was even a scenario of 'one crash' for 'another crash'!To avenge the chopper crash at Dimapur, there was a plane crash in Taiwan--a plane which had roughly 1/3 of its passengers as the Mainland Chinese.Incidentally, nearly 1/3 of the total passengers were also killed.(As the pilot of the plane was found killed still clutching the joystick, there is ground to believe that some malicious programs might have infected the onboard computers which,in turn, overided the manual commands of the pilot. This progam might be as stealthy and dangerous as Stuxnet, which was jointly written by US And Israeli governments, both thriving democracies in their respective regions! This time around,India, which is not only the largest democracy but also an IT powerhouse, might have contributed to the joint exercise of writing a plane killing computer virus!!).

Now,we come to the most intersting part. The plane crash was carefully timed to happen in the early hours of the 4th Feb '15.So,what's so special about the 4th of Feb?

It's the day on which there was a general strike in Manipur, which had taken everyone by surprise(because it was in support of a blockade of the Imphal-Moreh national highway and supporting a national highway blockade is unthinkable in the tortured political discourse of Manipur).More so,it was called by none other than one venerable organization which was born out of the massive protest against the then imminent territorial disintegrity of Manipur as the direct result of the Indo-Naga peace accord, more than a decade ago.

It's now clear that the plane crash in Taiwan was carefully timed to kill two birds with one stone--one,to avenge the chopper crash at Dimapur and, another,to serve as the symbolic counter-offensive to an offensive move happened on the 4th Feb ie the general strike.

So,the general strike on the 4th Feb was actually a very fine-grained offensive act.

The above statement is the embodiment of the enormous twist and turns inside the 'batteground Manipur',which most likely leaves everybody's head spinning. So,let's slow down a bit and re-started from the beginning.

1)The just concluded India's foreign minister's China visit was preambled by by the road blockade along the Imphal-Moreh national highway. The foreign minser was saying---"As I'm travelling towards the centre of the East,it's being graphically shown that Manipur's 'Nongpokthong' is at the mercy of New Delhi--we can shut it off completely or thrown it open ajar at the timing of our choosing".

2)But the Indian State achieved the blocading off the 'Nongpokthong' by letting the blockaders targetting one of its own arm--the Indian military.Isn't it the classic case of the spectacular execution of 'smudging the battleline' tactics?(my last post).

So,calling a general strike on the 4th Feb supporting the blockaders amounts to the acceptance of the principle of 'smudgign the battleline',isn't it? Really a queer case of organized valley groups supporting a hightway blockade in the hills, isn't it?

To unravel this seeming paradox we need to go back some week's timeline. There we will find out that one of the most easily overlooked news would make the most pronounced impact on the current state of the geo-political scenario.

Here is the most overlooked news. The students' wing of the most tortured agitation currrently active in Manipur gave a public demand for calling a special session of the State Legislative Assembly to discuss and enact a law tailored to their demands.New Delhi reacted almost immediately. It suddenly gave additional charge to the Manipur governor, which gave them the excuse for physical absence of the governor from Imphal for a prolonged duration.

What does it tell us? It tells us that New Delhi is expecting faultline to develop between the wishes of Manipuri people and the Constitution of India in the coming days.Seen in this light what had happened along the Imphal-Moreh national highway during Ms Sushma Swaraj visit to China is also a spadework by New Delhi--New Delhi is planning to nip the developing faultline by deploying various blocakades along the highways in the hills of Manipur.

Now comes the time to unravel the seeming paradox.Imagine someone trying to use both this spadework of New Delhi and genetic codes of the yet to be born faultline to creatre a scenario where the coming faultline would become collinaer with the already visble battleline. So,it's now clear that the seeming paradox contains a lot more deeper meanings in it.

Having come to this far,it's our duty to truthfully catalog of what have been unfolding in front of our own eyes.We are seeing the contours of a three-way fight.

1)One group is dreaming of casting a spell on the genetic codes of the yet to be born faultline so that it would not be inimical to the constitution of India.

2)The second group is fairly certain that any faultline would be inimical to the Constitution of India in due course of time and so,it should be nipped in the bud.

3)The third group is readying battleplans with both above two groups so that the coming faultline would become collinear with the already visible battleline.

The battleline and the 'Poireiton effect'.

The very same hand that made it happened the 'home coming ceremony' at the 1st Manipur Rifles banquet hall,Imphal on the 15th Dec 2014 also made the bomb exploded at the Mahatma Gandhi Avenue,Imphal the same morning--if weighed in the metrics of cold-bloodedness,it is much more cruel and, hence, much more condemnable than that of Peshawar's(16th Dec 2014),though the casualty is much less(two innocents killed and six injured).

The attempt was to get the battleline smudged beyond recognition.

Was the same 'smudge the battleline' strategy successfully deployed by Poireiton against Pakhangba, some 2000 years back?

It amazes me to no end in finding out that we need to go all the way to the great plains of the mighty Ganga to get the answer to the above question.

1)Just a few weeks back, the incumbent Bihar Chief Minister publicly said that all the upper class people(of Bihari society) are all foeigners. In a nutshell, the chief minister was tellng us that the vast mass of the downtrodden has been sleeping with the enemy since thousand of years but, yet, has not been successful in ascertaining where the battleline runs. For thousand of years(five to six thousands, according to their own estimate) the super intermittent series of 'smudge the battleline'
conspiracies of the 15th Dec kind has been impacting the chief minister's society.Seen in this light, what had happened in Imphal on the 15th of Dec is no ordinary conspiracy but the descendant of the one which has been rampaging the great plains of the mighty Ganga for thousand of years.

Are we trying to read too much from an occasional utterance of a chief minister(though I personally feel the chief minister was speaking for the vast downtrodden of the what is now called India)?

2) The answer is a big NO.

We need to go a little further north from the chief minister's place to see why we say that the answer is a big NO.In Nepal there is a living folk theatre playing all throuhgout the length and breadth of the country. It depicts the Nepali society's response to the threats coming from East,West,North and South. The play graphically describes how the Nepali society responds to the threats from the East, the West and the North. Then comes the South's turn. The play dutifully depicts the threat coming from the South. But their response to it? NIL.The play tells the dilemma of the Nepali Society's total inability to respond to the threats coming from the South.

In other words, the Nepali society is unable to draw a battleline to the South of their homeland.

Here,we can also visualize the super intermittent series of 'smudge the battleline' conspiracies of the 15th Dec kind impacting the Nepali Society with the result that even the present generation of Nepali society is still unable to ascertain where the battleline runs.

Having gone this far,we have definitely reached a place where we can have this breathtaking vistas of this constant tussle spanning thousands of years.Coming nearer home,it is also remarkably touching sight of how the tiny population of Manipur has been trying to draw the battleline with the West since at least 2000 years back. But the groups within its own society(present day sleeper cells) have been also successfully smudging the battleline for such a long time.

The lone figure who stood out in the vistas of this breathtaking sight is none other than Poireiton himself.Who was this man?Where did Poireiton stand in relation to the thousand of years old 'battleline smudging' conspiracies?

Still coming nearer home to this blog, what is the relationship between Poireiton and the 'box'(my last post)? Was Poireiton the architect of the 'box'?If not, then, was he the progenitor of the 'box'? Or,was he the ever fertile spring of inspirations for the conspiracies?

The quest for the answer of these profound questions have just reached the inflection point on the 15th Dec 2014.

Reaching the point,we must slacken our pace, take a deep breath and express thanks to the phenomenon of the rise of the Islamist, which,at any cost, should not be equated to the Taliban.I totally hate their carnage in Peshawar on the 16th Dec.I'm still at a loss to decipher how a grown up man could turn his loaded gun to a 10 years kid. This is totally revolting. But without the phenomenon of the rise of the Islamist, today's world would not have conversed with the concepts of 'asymmetric threat'.'asymmetric warfare'.Without the help of these concepts,we would not be able to reach the inflection point.

With the use of these concepts,we can now beautifully describe what, otherwise, is a bizarre encounter between Pakhangba and Poireiton.

1) Pakhangba 'asymmetrically' managed Poireiton's challenge.

2) The next logical deduction is that Poireiton is the embodiment of the 'asymmetric challenge' to the power centre at Kangla---the Manipuri nationhood.(Today's Imphal newspaper reports tell us in no uncertain terms how well entrenched and how resourceful this challenge still is).

3) Now comes the turn of the clear and presently useful deduction. The thousands of years old 'asymmetric challenge' to the Manipuri nationhood have publicly reared its ugly head on the 15th Dec 2014--that too, with a mammoth dose of symbolism, just at the vicinity of Kangla.
