Indeed, what is at work in the recent return of realism is the revenge of geography in the most old-fashioned sense. In the 18th and 19th centuries, before the arrival of political science as an academic specialty, geography was an honored, if not always formalized, discipline in which politics, culture, and economics were often conceived of in reference to the relief map. Thus, in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, mountains and the men who grow out of them were the first order of reality; ideas, however uplifting, were only the second.
And yet, to embrace geography is not to accept it as an implacable force against which humankind is powerless. Rather, it serves to qualify human freedom and choice with a modest acceptance of fate. This is all the more important today, because rather than eliminating the relevance of geography, globalization is reinforcing it. Mass communications and economic integration are weakening many states, exposing a Hobbesian world of small, fractious regions. Within them, local, ethnic, and religious sources of identity are reasserting themselves, and because they are anchored to specific terrains, they are best explained by reference to geography. Like the faults that determine earthquakes, the political future will be defined by conflict and instability with a similar geographic logic. The upheaval spawned by the ongoing economic crisis is increasing the relevance of geography even further, by weakening social orders and other creations of humankind, leaving the natural frontiers of the globe as the only restraint.
So we, too, need to return to the map, and particularly to what I call the “shatter zones” of Eurasia. We need to reclaim those thinkers who knew the landscape best. And we need to update their theories for the revenge of geography in our time.

My view is that relations between countries in the coming decades are most likely to reflect their cultural commitments, their cultural ties and antagonism with other countries rather than other factors. Quite obviously, power will continue to play a central role in global politics, as it always does. But usually there is something else behind conflicts. In the 18th century in Europe, the issues to a large extent involved questions of monarchy versus the emerging republican movements, first in America and then in France. In the 19th century, it involved states identifying themselves through nationalism. In the 20th century, ideology came to the fore, largely, but not exclusively, as a result of the Russian Revolution. We had fascism, communism and liberal democracy competing with each other. Well, that’s pretty much over. Liberal democracy has come to be accepted, in theory at least, around the world, if not always in practice. So the question really is what will be the central focus of global politics in the coming decades? My argument remains that cultural identities, antagonisms and affiliations will not only play a role, but play a major role in relations between states. The full interview is here.

Every citizen in the City of Richardson will be able to access 756 Kbps of internet connectivity for free, from anywhere in the city. They will be able to access the internet from their homes, schools, restaurants and parks using standard wi-fi connections which are now installed on almost every notebook computer. That is almost as fast as many so-called high speed broadband connections that one pays dearly for today, and several times faster than the various hotspots at your local coffee shops. And I should note that the tax-payers of the City of Richardson are not paying one penny for this, and in fact are going to see additional revenues as a benefit. ... At the beginning of this letter, I suggested that this would be one of the fastest worldwide rollouts of a technology ever seen. It was just 20 years ago that the first cellular systems were being built. The rollout for mesh wireless systems is going to make that look slow. There are several reasons I make this assertion. But they all center on the facts that installing mesh systems will be cheaper and easier than any previous system and the economics in both the developed and especially the developing world will be so radically compelling. Throw in the fact the any astute politician will want to be at the front of this parade (They will all want to say, "I was the man who helped bring free internet to everyone!") and the groundwork is laid for rapid deployment. In Richardson and elsewhere, MeshLinx is offering the basic infrastructure for free. This avoids all the time consuming, political budget battles in the cities. When a service is offered for free, much of the mandated competitive process is eliminated. Next is the low cost of installation of the system. As noted above, Richardson is a city of roughly 100,000 people living in 27.4 square miles. It will "only" cost about $2,000,000 today to lay the wireless blanket I mentioned above. It will cost a great deal less in the future, as MeshLinx is building the pods at a pace of 100 a month today. The maximum output of the US pilot assembly line is 500 a month. When the demand exceeds this (and it will in a very short time) discussions have been held to move volume production to China. Of course, the world will need tens of millions of pods. The cost for a pod will be a fraction of today's cost, with that installation number for a city like Richardson soon being half (or less) the cost of today. What does that $1 or 2 million get you? The infrastructure to be an internet connection, telephone, security, entertainment provider and a whole lot more company. As noted, it will get cheaper as the number of pods being made each month rises, thus lowering their costs dramatically. This technology does have scale. The cost of physically putting up a pod is not a large part of the equation, as you simply need to run a power line, attach a few bolts to a mount on the side of a building or light pole and then off to the next point. Think about the 40,000 homes and businesses in Richardson. If and (hopefully) over time when 10% decide to pay $50 a month for 10-20 Mbps high speed internet access you could see a revenue of $2.5 million a year just from internet access. Now add in all the other income possibilities (phone, entertainment, security and don't forget advertising revenue on the free service!). Think about your town or country. What would service like this be worth? If you are a small city that does not have high speed connections available, how many businesses that could bring jobs do not come your way because they need reliable communications for their work and their employees? If you are in a developing country, where internet access is difficult and expensive, it will open whole new vistas. Couple that with the various programs which want to give cheap laptops to kids in poor countries, and you could see significant social progress in a generation. Here is the link.

"We will continue the treasonous acts of completely destroying Manipuri society".

They are completely unhinged.

To get to understand how this blogger gets his information,that too,all from the news sources publicly available to all the citizen,we need to transport ourselves to the relevant context first.

1) Let's start with our 'unseen actors' (because those 'unhinged' are trying to ape the 'unseen actors').This should be read together with my last post.

In my post,entitled 'Phase 3',dated 1st March,2021,I tried my best to describe the 'unseen actors' as--"The person behind this blog (ie me!) is still in the state of bewilderment in gradually finding out how those actors have been so unobtrusively crafting an elegant strategy to bring forth a narrative of who they are and how they are going to proceed further by letting their silhouette spotted on the body of this blog.They are not revealing themselves(why??) and they seem to be asking the world to be content by seeing only their silhouette(is there any precedents of the emergence of such actors in the long human history?)".

Their recent activity vis-a-vis this blog is described in the same post as --"The Feb 10 post,entitled,"The soul of a 'paat' and the experiments in pictorial syntax",somehow managed to reveal the 'objective reality' of the creativity and foresight of the architects of our language.I do not want to sound like I am complimenting myself but that revelation is totally disruptive one.It also impressed me totally.More than that,I am proud to be one of the sons of those architects.For their part,those actors are saying--'We are the sons and daughters of those architects,just revealed in this blog and we have already managed to build up an equally disruptive friendly relations with the Chinese and we will show you by letting the Chinese army withdrawing their troops around Pangong Tso within hours of the publication of that particular post'.And they just did it.Unknown to the general public,the disruptive ripple effects felt around the capital cities around the world is only to be imagined--we are treading in a phase of human history where Pangong Tso just announced the opening up of a whole new chapter".

Besides this blog,they have been utilizing the imagery of another person,this time,a celebrity,that too,in same way as they have been doing with this blog--'by letting their silhouette spotted on the person' of this celebrity.

Thus far I have been taking utmost care to respect the privacy of this celebrity whom I tried to describe as briefly as possible as 'our Heingang personality'.(The reference to 'our Heingang personality' are to be found in several posts dealing with the covert warfare amongst the rebel groups.The total number of posts are seven and I have mentioned all of them in my last post).

But writing this post necessitates some peeling off some layers of the outermost portion of the privacy of this celebrity.Still I am really sorry for doing this.

'Our Heingang personality' is female and a well-known singer and film actor.

She was somewhere in Canchipur for her singing assignment in the night of 27th February,2021.I came to know of this from her Instagram.

In the same night,shots were fired in my own leikai.(It was fully described in my post,entitled,'Phase 3',dated 1st March,2021.)

In the same night (this is most important),in Kakwa,adjacent and contiguous to, Canchpur,there happened a fracas between two neighbours that also involved shots being fired and a casualty of a seventeen years old.

2) This fracas is not simple and normal one.

This is the continuation of the still unresolved series of murderous incidents,most sensational amongst them,being the cases of the Robert Naorem's mother murder in her own home in Sigjamei and the murder of Babysana in a hostel in Canchipur.

All these murders are chemically-induced (just like the siege inflicted upon me is chemically-powered).These 'unhinged' are trying to ape the 'unseen actors' by letting incidents happened which are unsolvable.They are saying--'We are also very important constituent of this society and this society cannot take any major decision without our explicit participation'. But,unlike the 'unseen actors' who deploy legitimate political devices,like their relationship with China,these 'unhinged', seem not to mind to deploy criminal devices,like that of Robert Naorem and Babysana,to subtly announce their arrival in the activist space of our society.Seen in this context,we are compelled to size them up as being psychopaths.

Why don't they deploy some legitimate political devices,instead of killing innocent people?

To shine more light on how they go about murdering innocent people,including kids,I will reproduce a portion from my post partly dealing with Robert Naorem and Babysana cases.The title of the post is 'The 3rd battle of the 2nd war of Kurukshetra coming on the 9th January?',dated 5th Jan 2019. The excerpt below is from the 8th update.

A new spectacular pattern we make out during the last few years is the assassination of the Vice Chairman of the oldest 'revolutionary' group by using chemical(in his food,obviuosly).We were all witness to a lots of bloodshed as the direct consequence of the presence of so many 'revolutionary' groups in our society.But we never did witness the use of chemical as a weapon of assssination--that's a new pattern.

Did the pattern-making use of chemical as the weapon of assassination mark the first publicly visible sign that there was a new entrant in 'revolutionary' scene of Manipur?

Were those new entrants the infiltrators?

Continuing on this theme,I also think the recent murder of Robert Naorem's mother was a chemically-induced one.Robert Naorem's father was made to strike the victim in a chemically-induced rage.(He probably did not have the intention to kill his wife--he was probably lost in the chemically-induced rage).I also believe that the real target was Robert Naorem himself--not his parents.It was a subtle and cruel move to 'socially'murder Robert Naorem.So,why was Robert Naorem targeted?

Before trying to answer (we need to give a credible answer to support the assertion that the murder was chemically-induced) this question,we need to ask another volatile question.

Was the murder of little Babysana(of Thangmeiband) in her school hostel in Canchipur also a case of chemically-induced one?

We need to look out for one particular hostelmate of Babysana,who is a few years older to her and (most crucially) have a lesbian crush on Babysana.It stands to reason that little Babysana spurned those lesbian overtures--repeatedly.The killers have the intimate knowledge of those relations and cross-relations within hostel rooms.The killers fed the lesbo girl with chemical in her food.Just like Robert Naorem's father,this lesbo girl,in a chemically-induced rage,killed Babysana.

I strongly suspect that all these murders were carried out by this constituent within our society who had successfully infiltrated the mainstream 'revolutionary' movement of Manipur.

3) Now, they are making news about 27th Nonemeber fracas on the 8th March 2021(I read it on today's newspapers).By doing so on International Women's Day,they are reiterating that they are continuing with their criminal activity to hurt the lady celebrity by engineering a chemically-induced fracas with her neighbours(similar to that happened in Kakwa).

Keeping this context in focus,there is need to discuss the recent death of a popular film actor from Singjamei.She was only 53.She crossed over to film from the theatre,where she was trained from her early age.It is common knowledge that anyone who grows up in Manipur's theatrical tradition should lead a very disciplined life.Someone who leads a very disciplined life dying at the age of 53? This does not add up.

From the first moment I heard the news of her death,I had suspected foul play.

In a blockbuster film,she plays the villain to our 'Heingang personality'.If the 'unhinged' take out the villain,they are effectively saying--'We wanted to show our love for you by taking out the villain but,now time has changed and in the changed scenario, you are next in line'.

Isn't this the public display of the height of sadism?

I suspect that the Singjamei artist was murdered by slow poisoning ( like they have been trying to me for the last six years) as a dramatic warning to our 'Heingang personality'.

(Not to mention of myself--they are enjoying destroying me ever so slowly by their chemically-powered siege).

Seeing this in the covert warfare context,they are also reiterating that they are continuing their treasonous acts of totally destroying the Manipuri society by co-opting the mainstream media as a collaborator in their strategy of seeking out the president of the oldest rebel group of Manipur(My last post),thus also destroying,in the process, the Manipur's media as well.

Destroying the Manipur's media tantamounts to totally destroying the Manipuri society itself.
